Yaletown Medical Supplies is a locally owned medical equipment retail and rental store located in downtown Vancouver. We provide mobility aids, home care equipment, and rehabilitation products to seniors, post-surgery patients, and healthcare professionals. We are expanding our team and looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join us.

What you'll do:

- Assist customers with medical equipment selection, rentals, and product demonstrations
- Assemble, deliver, and set up mobility equipment (wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds) across the Lower Mainland using our company vehicle
- Perform basic adjustments and minor repairs (fitting, height adjustments, accessory installation)
- Clean, disinfect, and inspect rental equipment between uses
- Support daily store operations: sales, rental processing, POS, restocking, and displays

What we're looking for:

- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands — backgrounds in bike shops, automotive, appliance repair, equipment retail, or similar are welcome
- Customer service or retail experience preferred
- Valid BC driver's licence with a clean driving record (required — delivery is a core part of the role)
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs; heavier items are moved using dollies, ramps, and two-person lifts

Schedule:

- Regular schedule:



30 hours/week — Saturday (8 hrs), Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (6 hrs each), Tuesday (4 hrs).
- Additional hours may be available to cover staff absences and busy periods — flexibility to occasionally work outside the regular schedule is an asset. Additional hours are paid at the regular rate; overtime per BC Employment Standards.
