Job Summary
Morihira Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our downtown dental office on a part time basis. The position is for two days a week, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Office hours are from 7-3pm. This is a maternity leave position with potential to become permanent.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a robust understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and ability to work a professional, downtown patient base.

Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.




- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion while engaging with a diverse downtown clientele, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years experience
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
- A valid dental hygienist license is required along with any necessary certifications related to dental assisting or hygiene practices.
