Job Title: Café Team Member (Barista & Kitchen Support)
Location: Good Place Café
Job Type: Full-Time (up to 40 hours/week; weekdays & weekends required)
Pay: $19/hour + share of tips

We are located in Wellington, Prince Edward County, 153 Main Street. At Good Place Café, we believe great food and drinks bring people together. We’re a warm, welcoming, and health-focused café serving high-quality coffee, smoothies, and fresh, feel-valuable food. We’re looking for friendly, positive team members who enjoy connecting with people and take pride in creating a great guest experience. Please note we are looking for someone with full time availability. Please mention days and times of the weeks that you are available to work.

What You’ll Do

Barista & Smoothie Bar:

- Craft coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and specialty beverages with care and consistency
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and café equipment confidently
- Ensure every drink looks and tastes outstanding

Food Prep & Kitchen Support/Baker:

- Prepare fresh menu items such as smoothies, salads, bowls, and light meals
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with portioning, assembling, and plating
- Baking GF and Vegan Treats for our guests

Customer Experience & Daily Operations:

- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service
- Use POS systems (experience with TouchBistro is an asset)




- Keep the café clean, organized, and inviting at all times
- Restock supplies, wash dishes, and support opening/closing duties

What We’re Looking For

- Previous café, barista, or food service experience is an asset
- Experience with TouchBistro POS is an asset
- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs if needed
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Certification:

- Food Handler’s Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain
