Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/woman to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this vital role, you will utilize your technical expertise and hands-on skills to perform precise welding, mechanical assembly, and maintenance tasks across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines. Responsibilities

- Inspect materials and completed work to identify defects or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and pipe preparation machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and participate in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes.
- Follow all company policies, client requirements, and Alberta occupational health and safety regulations.
- Participate in daily hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, and safe work planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in both fabrication shops and field construction sites.
- Perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions, including lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working at heights or in confined spaces when required.




- Support project schedules by working overtime, shift work, or remote camp assignments as needed.
- Promote a strong safety culture by using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all environmental and safety procedures.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman in manufacturing or construction environments with a robust background in welding (MIG, TIG) and mechanical work.
- Demonstrated ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with rigging, pipefitting, oil and gas lease construction is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, calipers, basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding, construction sites, and machinery operation.
- Prior work experience in manufacturing or construction projects that involved oil and gas artificial lift process is required.

Pay: $30.00-$70.00 per hour

Education:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
