I.P.G. International Protection Group is currently hiring professional, reliable, and confident Bar & Lounge Security Guards to join our growing team. This part time position requires availability on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and is based at Downtown Toronto locations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced nightlife environments and are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access at entrances and exits
- Verify identification and enforce legal age requirements
- Maintain order within the venue and handle crowd control
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies professionally
- Conduct routine patrols inside and outside the premises
- Work closely with bar staff and management to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Complete detailed incident reports as required
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (required)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bar,
nightclub, or event security is considered an asset
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts (weekend availability required)
- Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work at Downtown Toronto locations
