We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a interst in automotive repair and customer service, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and technicians alike. As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately documenting service requests, providing estimates, and facilitating communication throughout the repair process.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and assess their service needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Document customer information and vehicle service requests accurately.
- Provide detailed estimates for repairs and services based on mechanical knowledge and training provided.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure accurate repairs.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received.
- Follow up with customers regarding service completion and satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance efficiency.





Qualifications

- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is an asset but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven sales ability, particularly in upselling automotive services or products.
- Experience in cash handling and basic accounting practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
