Position: Class 3 Truck Operator

Location: 26 Don Valley Parkway, Sunnyside, MB

D&L; Landscaping and Concrete is looking for a reliable and experienced Class 3 with air Truck Operator to assist with hauling and transportation work throughout both our summer and winter seasons.

This position will primarily involve operating tandem dump trucks and other company trucks for hauling materials, aggregate, snow and equipment. Hours may vary depending on workload, weather conditions and project scheduling. This may be a good fit for someone looking for seasonal, part time, or on-call work.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate tandem dump trucks and other company vehicles
- Haul soil, gravel, limestone, asphalt, snow, and other materials
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate daily logs and required documentation
- Follow designated routes, site instructions, and delivery schedules
- Communicate with supervisors, operators, and site personnel
- Assist with loading, unloading, and general site duties when required
- Keep the truck clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations
- Be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight work during snow events when required

Qualifications

- Valid Manitoba Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement




- Previous experience operating tandem dump trucks is preferred
- Clean or acceptable driver’s abstract
- Experience hauling aggregate, construction materials, or snow is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from our shop in Transcona
- Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety, equipment care, and site conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to respond to changing schedules

- Additional hours may be available for candidates willing to assist with other landscaping, construction, or snow-removal duties
- Wage will be based on experience and qualifications
