We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join or Operations team in Kingston, ON.

This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties





- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff across multiple divisions.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards throughout all processes.
- Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to meet operational goals.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Address and report operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food production or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting.




- Basic proficiency in production metrics and inventory management.
- Food handler’s certificate required, additional certifications an asset.

Work Conditions

- Indoor, kitchen environment
- Machinery usage (mixers, conveyor belts)
- Sharp objects (knives)
- Standing for 6-8 hours a day
- Some desk work – sitting and using a computer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,336.00 per year
