Walford on the Hill Retirement Home is looking for a caring, compassionate, and reliable Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our evening team on a part-time basis.

Position Details
- Part-time evening shifts
- Alternating weekends required
- Opportunities for additional shifts may be available
Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to established policies and scope of practice
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents' health status
- Support residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow retirement home policies and infection prevention practices
Qualifications
- Current registration in valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN applicants), or experience as a UCP with medication administration training is preferred
- Experience working with seniors is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, TB test, police check within 6 months
- Bilingual is an asset
