Full-Time Crane Operator

Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as required

Niwa Crane is seeking a skilled, safety-focused Crane Operator to join our growing team in Medicine Hat. We provide reliable lifting solutions for commercial, industrial, agricultural, and construction projects throughout Southern Alberta. If you take pride in operating equipment safely and delivering exceptional service, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate mobile cranes on a variety of job sites.

* Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

* Set up cranes, outriggers, and lifting equipment according to site conditions.

* Read lift plans and communicate effectively with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors.

* Complete daily inspection reports and maintenance logs.

* Follow all company safety policies and provincial regulations.

* Assist with routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working order.

* Represent Niwa Crane professionally while working with customers and contractors.

Qualifications:

* Valid Class 1 driver's license (preferred).

* Mobile Crane Operator certification or equivalent experience.

* Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices and load charts.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.





* Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

* Safety certifications such as CSTS, H2S Alive, First Aid, or WHMIS are considered assets.
