Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive osteopathic care, utilizing their expertise to promote patient health and well-being. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing patient cases, and delivering personalized treatment plans. The Osteopath will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes through effective manual therapy, patient education, and holistic health approaches. Candidates with experience in hospital settings, pediatrics, or acute care are highly valued. Fluency in multiple languages, is preferred to serve diverse patient populations.

Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments using medical terminology and clinical analysis skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Perform manual therapy techniques to address musculoskeletal issues
- Manage patient case files with strong organizational skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clarity of care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and post-treatment exercises




- Assist in pediatric cases and acute care scenarios as needed
- Stay current with medical terminology updates and best practices in osteopathic medicine

Qualifications

- Valid certification or license as an Osteopath or equivalent credential
- Proven experience in hospital or acute care environments is preferred
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology, case management, and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
- Experience with medical analysis, mechanical knowledge related to musculoskeletal systems, and nursing practices is advantageous
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize patient appointments and administrative tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Pay: $32.00-$100.00 per hour
