Doodle All Daycare is now recruiting for an eager and enthusiastic French-Speaking Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) to support our French Immersion Program!

About Doodle All Daycare:
Doodle All Daycare is a brand recent, state of the art Childcare Centre located in the downtown area. We use a play-based, emergent approach to learning, drawing inspiration from children’s interests and developmental needs. We offer childcare for infant, toddler, and preschool age groups.

Type of Role:
Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant (French Immersion/Bilingual Program)

Responsibilities:

- Support our French immersion classroom, working alongside the lead educator to deliver a high-quality program that fosters children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, language, and social development.
- Engage children in daily indoor and outdoor activities conducted in French, helping to enhance vocabulary, communication, and comprehension skills.
- Encourage and participate in a child-led, play-based, bilingual learning environment where French is integrated into all areas of learning.
- Assist children in developing independence, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ensure the overall health, safety, and well-being of the children in the program.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment.




- Be dependable and available to work the hours/shifts of the center.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the childcare space and organization of classroom learning materials.
- Follow all current ministry rules and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Medical Check.
- Early Childhood Assistant diploma, related training, or relevant experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required; English proficiency is also necessary for team collaboration and family communication.
- Previous experience in a bilingual or French immersion setting is an asset.
- A positive and supportive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and supporting their growth.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
