Children’s Pastor – Team Lead

Position Type: permanent, full-time (40hrs/wk)

Location: 17504 98a Ave NW, Edmonton AB

Days of Work: Exact schedule to be determined with successful candidate. Weekends required.

Beulah Alliance Church is seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Pastor to lead and grow KidZone at our West Campus. This is an exciting chance for a visionary leader who loves developing others, creating engaging environments where children and families can grow in their faith, and making a lasting Kingdom impact. Role responsibilities:

- Lead the West Campus KidZone team, with a focus on scaling and growing the ministry to meet the needs of a large and expanding campus.
- Serve as team lead over West KidZone ministry, functioning as strategist, coach, and player.
- Champion KidZone vision and strategy at West, mobilizing staff and lay leaders to see Beulah’s vision come to life, with a special focus on kids and families.
- Continually develop environments to see disciples of all ages live out Beulah’s Practices to Gather, Grow, Give, and Go together.
- Establish the ministry leadership framework and identify, develop, and empower leaders.
- Ensure team members are building volunteer leaders by equipping them to lead ministry areas.
- Oversee ministry plan development and fulfillment.
- Provide coaching and hands-on leading ministry in all weekend services.
- Manage central systems to support kid’s ministry across campuses, resourcing campuses and ensuring consistent execution of CM constants at all campuses.
- Provide pastoral care, spiritual leadership, and training for volunteers and attenders.

- Demonstrated expertise in vision casting and recruiting volunteers into ministry.
- Experience evaluating ministry operations and ability to lead teams in new directions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience directing and leading staff/volunteers.
- Spiritual gifting: leadership, administration, shepherding, and teaching.
- Experience in a mid-size or large church setting would be an asset.
- High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
- Able to be fully licensed with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada.
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience in ministry positions with increasing levels of responsibility.
- A diploma (2 yrs min) from a credible Biblical Institution with an emphasis in either Theology, Biblical Studies, Missiology, or Christian Ministry, and a heart for ministry.
