Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with the ability to work efficiently on various projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of operating power tools and hand tools, and performing heavy lifting as needed. The Concrete Finisher will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and durability of concrete surfaces while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes.
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring.
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, screeds, and trowels to facilitate effective finishing processes.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and other structural components during various phases of construction or renovation projects.




- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe work setting by following all safety protocols and properly handling tools and equipment.

Experience

- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction fields.
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of heavy equipment and power tools.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and masonry techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
- Prior experience working with hand tools and power tools in a construction setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites is required for successful performance in this role.

Pay: $22.28-$30.00 per hour
