Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep residential and commercial properties safe, clean, and in good working order. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality repairs, and can manage a variety of maintenance tasks independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and clean-up tasks across interior and exterior property areas, assist with groundskeeping tasks.
- Complete minor repairs involving carpentry, doors, windows, fixtures, fencing, drywall, painting, plumbing, HVAC experience including filter replacing and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Maintain building curb appeal through grounds upkeep, seasonal maintenance, and snow removal as required.
- Conduct inspections, identify deficiencies, and report unsafe conditions or repair needs promptly.
- Document work completed through photos, work orders, status reports, and digital communication tools.
- Support suite turnover and renovation tasks, including patching, priming, painting, cleaning, and preparing spaces for occupancy.
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors, team members, contractors, and clients while maintaining a professional approach.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in building maintenance, renovations, janitorial work, or property repairs is preferred.
- Experience with a variety of trades such as carpentry, painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, or water loss remediation is considered an asset.




- Ability to diagnose problems, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Comfort using mobile devices, email, and digital work order systems.
- Certification or additional technical training in maintenance-related fields is an asset.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preference will be given to anyone holding one Red Seal Journeyman ticket, preferably in one of the following trades, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
- Clear criminal record and transparent driving record.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools and general maintenance equipment.
- Availability for regular weekday shifts and occasional after-hours or on-call emergencies as needed.

Pay: $54,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
