If so, Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) is looking for a dynamic Sales Associate to help grow our weddings, corporate events, group tours, social functions, and Celebrations of Life business.

In this exciting role, you'll combine sales expertise with event coordination to guide clients from their first inquiry through to the successful delivery of their event. You'll play a key role in generating revenue, building robust client relationships, and ensuring every event reflects the exceptional standards and reputation of RBG.

This is a 12-month contract position commencing September 8, 2026.

What You'll Do

- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, lead generation, qualification, follow-up, and relationship-building to drive long-term business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Lead venue tours, consultations, and site visits, identify client needs, and develop tailored event solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Prepare and manage proposals, contracts, event orders, floor plans, payment schedules, and other event documentation, ensuring accuracy and effective communication.
- Coordinate event logistics with internal departments, vendors, volunteers, and venue representatives, and provide in office support to help ensure successful event execution.
- Monitor sales activities, client interactions, event outcomes, industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify opportunities, enhance sales strategies, and maximize revenue.

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or client relationship management, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop customized solutions, and achieve results.
- Knowledge of event planning, hospitality, tourism, or a related industry, including an understanding of current industry trends and customer expectations.
- Experience preparing proposals,



contracts, budgets, and pricing structures.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a solid customer service focus.
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
