As commercially focused insurance brokers we have ambitious plans to grow in Commercial Lines and Exclusive Skilled Liability and Medical Malpractice.

We seek ambitious experienced commercial lines insurance brokers to sell and service commercial insurance solutions in a fast paced fully automated office environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Sell commercial insurance, professional liability and risk management accounts and exclusive group programs

- Report to management directly

- Preference for Producers with Book of Business

- Preference for Professional liability, Construction, Surety, Trucking, Group programs, Sports, Entertainment or Commercial property

- Provide timely professional customer service at all times

- Cross-sell and up-sell commercial insurance

- Assess risks, prepare proposals, market to insurers, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documentation

- Manage insurance certificates

- Respond to clients enquiries

- Maintain accurate up to date files

- Electronic interfacing with various insurers, including applications for new business, endorsements and renewals

- Monitor insurance claims activity





- Ensure adherence to all corporate guidelines and mandates including proper rating/underwriting strategy, coverage and usage of insurance markets

Participate in various projects as needed. Assume leadership in some areas.

Requirements:

- RIBO License,

- Prefer CAIB, CRM, CIP designation

- min 3+ years experience in commercial lines sales and service

- Ability to work independently, take initiative and pay impeccable attention to detail and deadlines

- Outstanding communications skills including all newer forms such websites, Linked in, blogs, twitter, social media etc.

- Ability to work with and fully utilize the Agency Manager System, Policy Works and Insurance company portals

- Remuneration is based on a commission

- Signing bonus and Ownership of book of business considered

- Start date: immediate
