We are currently seeking a qualified Residential Cleaner for one of our residential apartment buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply room
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Performing maintenance and repairs to building, common area and vacant/tenant units
- Responding to tenant concerns




- Assisting the Property Manager in collecting rent

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with the following systems is required: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and building system controls considered an asset
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety and WHIMIS
- Strong communication and organizational skills
