Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant and Toddler & Early Childhood Education (ECE) professionals to join our team. This role involves nurturing and educating young children in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in childcare or early childhood education, and the ability to work effectively with children of diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and French, are highly valued to enhance our inclusive learning community.

Duties

- Provide high-quality care and supervision for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children
- Maintain detailed documentation of children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and ensure a cohesive learning experience
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns




- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations and best practices
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Manage classroom organization efficiently to maximize learning opportunities

Skills

- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French are a strong plus
- Experience working with children across various age groups, particularly infants and toddlers
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s development positively
- Effective time management to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day
- Writing skills for maintaining accurate records and reports
- Computer operation skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication tools
