We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position supporting the Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day upkeep and repair of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our guests and team members.

Schedule

- Full time
- Day shifts:
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the hotel.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Repair and touch up painted surfaces.
- Perform caulking, patching, and other cosmetic repairs.
- Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, hardware, and other building components.
- Respond to guest maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Maintain hotel grounds and common areas as needed.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks.




- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns and assist the Maintenance Manager with special projects.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in general building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar role is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of painting, drywall repair, caulking, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
