This part-time, hourly position is responsible to maintain the buildings mechanical and pool systems, HVAC systems and performing preventative maintenance on building equipment at Westside Recreation Centre.

Responsibilities include:

- Pool and mechanical operations
- Maintain HVAC systems
- Boiler operations
- Preventative maintenance
- General maintenance such as painting, drywall repair, carpentry, tile work, and minor electrical and plumbing
- Determine building and mechanical repair needs daily
- Determine safety needs for building and equipment to ensure safety
- Complete work orders
- Positive knowledge in Building Management Systems

Work Term

- Part-time, up to 25 hours a week
- Afternoon, evening and weekend work is required

Qualifications/Skills Required:

- Building Operator B ticket or 5thClass Steam Engineers ticket
- Pool Operator Level I is an asset
- Current Intermediate First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Preference will be given to those with recreational building maintenance experience
