QUALIFICATIONS

- Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field required
- Knowledge, skills and proven experience providing diagnostic assessments required
- Proven skills and experience in completing psychosocial histories required
- Knowledge and skills in the completion of cognitive assessments, including those that may require the supervision of the psychologist/psychiatrist (e.g. Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Brief Neuropsychological Assessment (BNA), Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT), Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT), California Verbal Learning Test (CVLT), Brief Visuospatial Memory Test–Revised (BVMT-R), Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (D-KEFS), Controlled Oral Word Association Test (COWAT))
- Demonstrated accuracy, validity, and standardization in test administration required
- Demonstrated superior skills in conducting interviews required
- Knowledge of therapeutic approaches with preferred experience in behaviour modification (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)) an asset
- Current Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Certificate an asset
- Demonstrated ability to conduct all aspects of research
- Excellent oral and written communication skills




- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers and visitors
- Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
- Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required. All unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the identified French requirement has been met or there are no successful bilingual candidates. A formal French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level.
