Shipper/Receiver

Our Shipper/Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading materials/products as per procedures. They are responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming/outgoing products and materials against applicable documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive all inbound shipments at the warehouse from various divisions and external vendors

· Thoroughly inspect and verify all incoming freight for accuracy and condition.

· Prepare and ship outbound freight, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods to meet customer requirements.

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any shipping related inquires.

· Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct annual counts and report any discrepancies.





· Inspect forklifts and loader regularly and ensure they are in valuable mechanical condition.

Requirements:

· Forklift Certificate is an asset.

· Comfortable using various hand tools and measuring equipment

· Must be mechanically inclined and have experience with using various measuring instruments.

· Knowledge of quality and safety standards.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment; adapt to change and work under pressure.

· Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative and the ability to work well with others.
