Position Summary

Lead and manage landscape construction and pool installation projects from start to finish while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to R Legacy Landscapes & Pools' quality standards. Responsible for supervising field staff, coordinating materials and equipment, maintaining quality control, and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead daily landscape construction and pool installation projects.
- Review project plans, layouts, elevations, and specifications before construction begins.
- Organize daily tasks and assign work to crew members.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Coordinate labour, equipment, deliveries, and subcontractors.
- Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction.
- Operate landscape equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and saws.
- Maintain a secure, clean, and organized job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout construction.
- Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions.
- Track project progress and communicate schedule updates with management.
- Order and organize materials required to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members while maintaining accountability.

Typical Project Scope





Projects may include:

- Inground swimming pool installations
- Interlocking stone patios and walkways
- Driveways
- Natural stone installations
- Porcelain patios
- Retaining walls
- Steps
- Armour stone
- Drainage systems
- Sod installation
- Garden bed construction
- Tree and shrub planting
- Final grading and site restoration

Required Skills

- Minimum 6–8 years of landscape construction experience.
- Strong understanding of pool construction is considered an asset.
- Ability to read construction drawings and elevations.
- Proficient with skid steers, excavators, compactors, cut-off saws, and landscape equipment.
- Experience operating truck and trailer.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
- Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
