MJRS Associates is an accounting firm providing accounting, bookkeeping, taxation and business advisory services for business and individuals across Canada and US for the past 14 years. We specialize in corporate tax planning and preparation, concierge accounting services to small and medium businesses and Business consulting. Whether a large corporation or a sole proprietor, MJRS is focused on ensuring the best strategic advice and highest level of service.

.Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Payroll functions for portfolio companies, including taxable benefits, T4’s, employee benefits and quarterly filings.
- Reconcile the general ledger accounts and prepare month end journal entries in QuickBooks.
- Monthly Payroll Remittance
- Assists with month-end financial reports for review and discussion.
- Prepares monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assists Controller with year-end financials for all clients.
- Performs various financial analysis as directed by the Controller.
- Monthly and quarterly filing of GST/HST returns and other forms such as T4s and T5s

Requirements




- Ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers/customers
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
- Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow
- Analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for clients

Education/Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel/ Word
- Proficient in Quickbooks,
- Working knowledge of PC LAW
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal/ Written)
- Able to Multitask

Experience
- 3-4 Years of experience in excel and QuickBooks
- 2-3 Years of experience in Accounting

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
