Job Description

- Perform and oversee variety of tasks including setting forms, concrete placing and finishing, concrete curing and strip forms in a protected manner.
- Delegate tasks to carpenters, apprentices, and laborers; monitor performance and manage daily timekeeping
- Coordinate with Supervisors for material procurement, tool allocation, and equipment rentals
- Check work progress to ensure that it meets quality standards, codes and specifications
- Be aware of changes to materials and techniques.
- Adapt easily to different forming systems.
- Work with a variety of hand tool, power tools and equipment
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements

- Dependable work attendance.

- Experience in the construction industry with a willingness to learn.




- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, building specifications, asbuilts & do calculations.
- Complete understanding and compliance of safety procedures, especially working at heights.
- Adheres to ethical work habits.
- Good attitude and willingness to follow directions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.
- Journeyman Carpenter Red Seal certification or relevant apprenticeship completion.
- Valid fall protection, aerial platform certifications.
- Strong blueprint reading skills

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

- Carpenter Foreman: 3 years (preferred)
- Structural Construction: 5 years (preferred)
- Experience working on Bridge Projects is highly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $39.00-$47.00 per hour
