The front desk attendant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our members and guests. There are some front desk desk duties associated with this position such as being the first point of contact with the public. A friendly nature and outgoing personality is an absolute must for this position, as is the ability to stay calm and work in a fast paced setting. You must be comfortable talking to people from all walks of life in person, on the phone, and via chat and email. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome visitors and members to the studio, answer phones. and assist the front desk with various administrative tasks
- Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing potential members, and chatting with them at local events or during studio walk-ins
- Assist with the Yoga studio in cleaning mats and ensuring the studio is up to par
- Maintain long-term clientele and grow the studio's membership base through sales, new member on boarding, and excellent customer service
- Manage and organize marketing efforts both within and outside of the studio
- Handle members' issues professionally and objectively, to resolve them through exceptional customer service- Make sure that members and guests are warmly greeted and promptly assisted - Answer incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner
- - Ensures proper member sign up and check-in procedures are followed
- - Answer questions regarding membership options
- - Respond effectively to member questions, requests and concerns and escalates to management immediately if unable to resolve
- - Generate daily reports
- - Assist with operations and administration
- - Assist with retail sales to help the gym reach monthly target
- - Actively pursue membership sales, and assist to hit monthly sales targets
- - Contact members with outstanding bills, and assist with membership renewal process
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience in Martial Arts Mandatory
- 1 year of experience in sales or a similar role is highly desired
- Previous customer service experience required for this position
- Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Must be possess a very friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone/email etiquette, organization and time management skills.
- Possess strong customer service abilities, diplomacy, and professionalism
- Able to multi-task and perform tasks with accuracy
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
