Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist / Service Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk, and assisting with service department operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer relations, automotive knowledge, and sales, contributing to a positive experience for our clients and supporting the smooth functioning of our service department.

Duties

- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm service visits
- Assist customers with vehicle check-in and check-out processes
- Provide accurate information about services, repairs, and maintenance options
- Upsell additional services or repairs based on customer needs and vehicle assessments
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history
- Coordinate with technicians and service managers to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep the reception area organized, clean, and professional at all times




- Support sales efforts by promoting dealership services and products when appropriate

Requirements

- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a strong plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers of varying knowledge levels
- Sales aptitude with experience in upselling services or products
- Cash handling experience with attention to accuracy and security
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
