Gordon Barr Ltd. is hiring a Construction Foreman to join our growing team. We are an established contractor engaged in a variety of heavy civil projects including site works, subdivisions, and road reconstructions.

This is an intermediate-level position with room for advancement. Wage is commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily supervision of site operations and crew coordination
- Liaison between field and management staff
- Order and coordinate equipment, materials, and deliveries
- Enforce and uphold all on-site safety protocols
- Maintain accurate paperwork and site documentation
- Apply OPS standards and ensure OHSA compliance (Green Book)
- Quantity surveying for earthworks and site improvements
- Interpret and work with digital plans and production software
- Travel and physical labour may be required

Qualifications

- Minimum Grade 12 education
- 3–5 years experience in heavy civil construction, specifically underground pipe works
- Certificates in:



WHMIS, Working at Heights, Trenching, Hoisting & Rigging, CPR, Confined Space
- Recognized supervisory training (mandatory)
- Proficient with Total Station/GPS/CAD and Microsoft Office (asset)
- Robust communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license required

Technical Skills

- Survey software and hardware familiarity
- Understanding of topography, elevations, and line work
- Digital construction tools and plan interpretation
