Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as experience with related construction tasks. The Concrete Finisher will work on various projects, including residential, commercial, and restoration sites, contributing to high-quality building outcomes.

Duties

- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth and level finish
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring
- Operate heavy equipment safely during construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for proper project execution
- Perform masonry work, including caulking and flooring installation as needed
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and other related tasks such as welding and restoration
- Use carpentry skills for framing and renovation projects involving concrete structures
- Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, edging, and smoothing to meet project specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished surfaces meet industry standards and client expectations




- Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA guidelines and using appropriate personal protective equipment

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge of construction tools and heavy equipment operation
- Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, and flooring installation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong carpentry skills relevant to renovation and restoration projects
- Knowledge of welding, caulking, and other related construction processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling
- Construction experience with a focus on concrete work is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements
- Good communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
