Dominion Nickel Alloys is a scrap metal processor that specializes in Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys. At the company, we use state of the art equipment to sort, analyze, and process various forms of scrap metal to be packaged as a final product for our customers.

We are currently looking for motivated candidates to expand our team at our location in Burlington, Ontario. Candidates should be adaptable in fast paced environments, able to work effectively independently as well as in a team, able to learn new skills quickly, and take initiative within the company.

Compensation

- $22.50 per hour starting rate

- Consistent hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4:30pm and Friday 7am – 1pm (Weekends OFF)

Responsibilities

- Operate a Forklift/Roll Off Truck (manual transmission)/Bobcat to move and dump material

- Use handheld analyzers to determine the type of material and metal percentages





- General Labour around the yard

Requirements

- Solid problem solving skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects

- Punctual

- Adaptable and ability to learn new skills quickly

Bonus Qualifications

- Experience using power tools is an asset

- Forklift operators license (Current or Expired is an Asset)

- Experience with Roll Off Trucks, Excavators and Bobcats

- Welding or torch cutting (or other mechanical experience)

- Computer or inventory management experience

- Alternative experience in manual labour or maintenance

- Experience in dealing with and sorting metals or materials
