We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Litigation Law Clerk/lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys, researching and preparing legal documents, summarizing depositions and court proceedings, and managing case files. The ideal candidate should have excellent research and writing skills, a working knowledge of the legal system, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, motion records, briefs, and memoranda of law.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses.
- Assist the lawyer in preparing for trial.




- Analyze case law and statutes to determine the best course of action for a case
- Preparing FACTUM, book of authorities trial record etc.
- Experience with PRRA and BOC

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-65,000.00

- Litigation: 4 years (required)

- Monday to Friday
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON M1K 2N8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
