HIRING LINE COOKS, PREP COOKS, DISHWASHERS / KITCHEN PORTERS

We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Back of House Staff to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional food experiences at our BRAND NEW restaurant coming to Courtenay. Back of House team members play a vital role in ensuring every dish meets our standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Prior kitchen experience and familiarity with food preparation and safety standards are preferred. These positions offer an engaging, team-focused environment where efficiency, organization, and pride in execution are at the forefront of daily operations.

Requirements





- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
- Ability to follow recipes, specs, and instructions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak service times
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and leadership
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings required
