Position Summary
Aburi Market Ambleside is looking for a Kitchen Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations by preparing high-quality dishes with consistency and efficiency, while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and is eager to grow within a collaborative and professional kitchen team!

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper food handling in all work areas
- Assist with prep, production,



and service during busy periods
- Support inventory organization and assist with ordering as needed (or willingness to learn)
- Perform kitchen steward duties, including cleaning stations, equipment, and work areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated
- Lift, move, and organize products and supplies up to 50 lbs
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to assist with or learn ordering and inventory processes
- Valid Food Safe certification
- Previous Asian cooking experience is an asset, due to ingredients used
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
