Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as RRW/CCA Casual staff. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. The position offers flexible hours to accommodate your schedule and is ideal for those passionate about senior care, disability support, and enhancing the well-being of others. As a casual team member, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful setting for those in your care.

Duties

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal service to meet individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident areas to maintain a hygienic environment
- Engage residents in social activities and companionship to foster emotional well-being
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff
- Assist individuals with disabilities or dementia with personalized care plans tailored to their needs




- Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly valued
- Ability to handle medication administration accurately and responsibly
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliable transportation is beneficial for community-based roles
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols related to healthcare settings

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
