We take on residential / commercial / industrial / municipal projects and pride ourselves on accurate bids, tight cost control, and delivering jobs on budget.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, graders, and backhoes
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Grade, excavate, backfill, load, and move material to specifications
- Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from the site supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Communicate clearly with ground crew, spotters, and other operators
- Report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all company, site, and regulatory safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- [1]+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid [driver's license class / equipment certifications if possible, e.g., ticketed operator
- Solid understanding of jobsite safety practices and hazard awareness
- Ability to read grades and follow site plans
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
- Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions
- [Valid driver's license — Class 5___ an asset]
- Basic mechanical/maintenance knowledge
