Compass Services is growing come join a dynamic transportation team as a Class 1 Driver! This energetic role offers positions for Box Trucks, End dumps, Water Trucks, Vac Trucks and Tankers. You’ll be a vital part of our logistics operation, showcasing your expertise in commercial driving while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Duties

- Safely and efficiently operate commercial trucks for the task at hand.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Perform basic commercial repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues promptly.
- Communicate with shop if repairs are required on your unit.
- Fill out daily safety paperwork and contribute to weekly and monthly safety meetings.
- Have a smart phone to download company apps used.

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record




- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Knowledge of commercial repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously and work efficiently under deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and customer service
- Show up punctual, fit for work and be ready to work as a team (leave any drama at home)

Pay: $36.00-$44.00 per hour
