Job Overview

MGC Concrete Finishing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate teams, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and proficiency with construction management tools. The Concrete Foreman will play a vital role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate concrete pouring, finishing, and curing activities on construction sites
- Manage and direct a team of laborers and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow
- Review project blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions promptly
- Conduct quality control inspections to meet safety standards and project specifications
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and enforce compliance among team members
- Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, budgeting,



and resource allocation
- Oversee material deliveries and ensure proper use of tools and equipment

Skills

- Proven supervising experience in concrete or general construction projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Experience with quality control procedures and safety regulations in construction environments
- Construction experience with a focus on concrete work is highly preferred
