CBO Earthworks is seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, who can operate equipment efficiently and safely to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, graders, etc.) to complete finish grading and excavation with precision and care.
- Conduct trench work and underground utility installation in compliance with OH&S; standards and CBO Earthworks’ Code of Practice for Ground Disturbance.
- Complete pre-operational checklists and perform light maintenance (cleaning, greasing, refueling) to ensure equipment reliability.
- Good communication onsite with crew and with the office and shop as well.
- Demonstrate strong awareness and secure practices in Ground Disturbance and trench safety.




- Follow site foremans instructions and contribute to a productive, respectful jobsite.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.
- Proficient in GPS systems including Trimble and Leica.
- Proven ability to perform quality finish and grade work.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from our Head Office in Lacombe.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to jobsite protocols.

Job Details:

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday and half days Saturdays. Sundays always off.
- Some away work with LOA, lots of home every night work.
- Employment Type: Full-time, Seasonal
