Job Overview
We are seeking Mold Designers (Junior to Senior) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in planning and designing new molds to suit the customer’s specifications, and will also be responsible for front-line troubleshooting and problem resolution relating to the machining and final assembly of the mold on the shop floor.
Duties
- Review customer files and prepare designs for manufacturing.
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings in Siemens NX.
- Release manufacturing files and support machining and assembly.
- Assist with BOM preparation and material ordering.
- Troubleshoot mold design and manufacturing issues.
- Ensure customer requirements and engineering procedures are followed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience by Level
- Junior Mold Designer: 1+ year of NX modeling and injection mold design experience.
- Mold Designer (Intermediate) : 5+ years of mold design experience with independent project execution.
- Senior Mold Designer: 7+ years of experience leading complex mold designs, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
Qualifications
- 3-year college diploma in Machine Design, Manufacturing Technology, Mold Making, Tool & Mold Design, or equivalent.
- Experience with plastic injection mold design.
- Working knowledge of Siemens NX and manufacturing processes.
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Fluent English.
