What You'll Do

- Lead the installation, start-up, and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems.
- Install rooftop units, split systems, water-source heat pumps, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot newly installed systems to ensure they operate as designed.
- Review project requirements and coordinate with estimators, project coordinators, and managers.
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians on installation best practices.




- Train customers and building operators on newly installed equipment.
- Assist with material and equipment procurement to keep projects on schedule.

What You'll Bring

- Valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Journeyperson certification is required.
- Valid Class B Gas Fitter certification is required.
- Proven experience installing commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and water-source heat pumps.
- Strong troubleshooting, start-up, and commissioning experience.
- Class B-R Refrigeration Field Safety Representative (FSR) certification is an asset.

Experience:

- Commercial HVAC installation: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class B-R: Refrigeration FSR Certification (preferred)
- BC Class 5 Driver's License (preferred)
- Red Seal in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (preferred)
- Class B Gas Fitter (preferred)
