Automotive Service and Parts Advisor

Current Liskeard Chrysler is growing and is seeking an enthusiastic Service and advisor to join our energetic team!

Job location- New Liskeard Ontario

Automotive Service Job Duties:

- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
- Listen to customers’ account of issues and symptoms to better understand what the problem is and accurately log the information for the technicians to understand
- Verify warranty, insurance or contract coverage for service
- Calculate, explain, and provide customer with an estimate of these expenses for resolving the problem




- Explain process to clients so they understand what to expect and when their automotive will be repaired
- Record information gathered from each visit in appropriate database
- Work with supervisors, technicians, and the rest of team to provide a positive and expedient resolution for clients.
