Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundsperson to join our team in Tillsonburg. This position offers the possiblity of advancing in the business to become an ISA-certified arborist.

Responsibilities

- Assisting the crew leader in job set-up, debris removal, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
- Keep the jobsite clean, organized and safe.
- Follow direction from the crew leader and communicate clearly with team members.
- Operate and maintain tools and machinery such as chainsaws, chippers, and other jobsite equipment.
- Abide by industry safe policies and procedures.
- Assist climbers and equipment operators with ropes, rigging, and ground support.
- Driving Trucks and trailers and performing regular daily inspections

Skills

- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
- Valid provincial driver's license. License to drive a 5-ton vehicle and an air brake endorsement is considered assets.
- Willingness to work towards becoming a certified arborist.
- Ability to work safely as part of a team, and possess the willingness to learn and progress in the business.
- Must be 18 years or older.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
