Bangkok Food Truck is growing and looking for an experienced Cook / Line Cook to join our team.

We are a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen focused on fresh ingredients, consistency, and high-volume service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on cooking, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in producing quality food quickly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and cook Thai-inspired dishes and menu items
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Assist with prep, inventory, and kitchen organization
- Monitor food portions and minimize waste
- Help receive and stock food and kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-protected workspace
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Assist with training and supervising kitchen helpers when needed

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of cooking or line cook experience in a restaurant, food truck, or commercial kitchen
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Reliable, organized, and dependable
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting kitchen supplies
- Team-focused attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed
- Experience with Thai cuisine is an asset, but not required

Requirements





- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- A criminal record check may be required
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes

Schedule

- Full-time permanent position
- Approximately 44 hours per week
- Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Work location: On the road
