Our client, is an automation and electrical equipment provider for numerous industries. They provide equipment for automation, motion and control, robotics and infrastructure. They are actively looking to hire Panel Technician's to join their growing team.

The Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and inspecting low- and medium-voltage electrical switchgear, circuit breakers, control panels, and related electrical equipment according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with electrical components in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Assemble low- and medium-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, control cabinets, and electrical distribution equipment.

· Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).

· Install electrical and mechanical components including:

o Circuit breakers

o Bus bars

o Contactors

o Relays

o Disconnect switches

o Current transformers (CTs)

o Potential transformers (PTs)

o Terminal blocks

o Control wiring

· Route, terminate, label, and secure wiring in accordance with engineering specifications.

· Torque electrical and mechanical fasteners to specified requirements.

· Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches,



and measuring instruments.

· Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process.

· Assist with electrical testing, continuity checks, insulation resistance (megger) testing, and functional verification.

· Identify assembly issues and report non-conformances to supervisors or quality personnel.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and lean manufacturing principles.

· Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and PPE standards.

· Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production schedules.

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience assembling electrical equipment, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), panelboards, or circuit breakers preferred.

· Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.

· Knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices.

· Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
