The Opportunity

Reporting to the Store Manager (or his/her delegates), the Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving incoming products and handling product returns, replacements, etc. This position also requires providing good service to vendors and staff, and maintaining the receiving equipment and workplace in good condition.

You Will

- Check the quantity, weight, and quality of products during receiving; process and sort related invoices and documents
- Assist Department Heads in handling returned and replaced products; manage shrinkage, and examine obsolete items
- Follow procedures to execute in-store transfers
- Ensure receiving machinery, equipment, and working tools are under regular maintenance and well-kept
- Ensure receiving areas are organized, clear, unblocked, and safe
- Control backdoor access and enforce relevant policies
- Greet vendors and staff by providing friendly service

You Should Have / Be

- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Be prepared to stand for long periods and to handle products hands-on, including lifting products of up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
- Possess basic computer skills in MS Office
- Possess a valid Forklift or Pallet Jack license




- Have a valuable understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job and know how to interpret merchandise labels
- Good communication skills
- Possess knowledge of workplace health & safety
