Candidates for this position should have a good working knowledge and experience with; QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, the full Accounting Cycle and General Computer Skills. Duties will include A/P, A/R, and Government Remittances. Other duties will include dealing with daily phone calls and general office duties. This Position is part time 30-40 hours per week (depending on workload) with flexible work schedule. This could be increased to more opportunity for the right Candidate. Workload would be split over the week. Wages will be based on qualifications and skill level.

Responsibilities include:

ensure proper payment procedures are followed
matching invoices
entering contracts and applying invoices to contracts

processing payment
processing accounts receivable/payable
coordinating with construction team and vendors
entering information quick books online
bank deposits and bank reconciliations
complete tax forms
perform month-end closings
bank reconciliations - monthly




WIP reconciliations – monthly
Credit card reconciliations - monthly

Required skills:

2 years bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable experience
Basic accounting knowledge
Detail oriented and organized
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Accurate and efficient processing of information
Excellent English communication both written and oral
Problem solving
Ability to work on your own without instruction
