Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Stoney Creek location.
This individual will be responsible for completing in office preventive maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state of the art technologies and a new purpose built truck.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
- Identify issues with malfunctioning equipment, analyze the root causes, and devise appropriate solutions for repairs, replacements, or adjustments
- Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a service technician
- Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills
- Motivated, energetic, and have strong oral communication skills
- Willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
- High degree of mechanical aptitude
- A recent driver’s abstract will be required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience
- Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
- Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply
- Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets
