CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- Post-secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in construction/engineering, or an appropriate field. A combination of education and trade-work experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in mechanical estimating

- Knowledge of building mechanical systems (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing)
- Emotional intelligence & positive stress management,

- Excellence in written and oral communication
- Time management & the ability to adhere to deadlines

- Knowledge of BC Building Code and ASHRAE Standards
- Team Player & Motivated to work alone
- Maintains the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Capable of reading and understanding blue prints (mechanical)

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Mechanical plan & drawing aptitude
- Procurement & Bid Portal management/submission
- Safety Certification & Training
- BlueBeam, Adobe Acrobat, Procore
- Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Progress & draw payment experience a plus
