Duties
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to clients’ preferences and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell additional services or retail products that enhance nail health or beauty benefits
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions for long-lasting results
- Assist in retail sales by promoting nail care products, lotions, and other beauty items
- Follow salon protocols for hygiene, safety,
and sanitation regulations at all times
Skills
- Solid knowledge of various nail techniques including shaping, polishing, and applying enhancements
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively
- Ability to perform body waxing services as an added skill for client convenience (nice-to-have)
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy
- Exceptional customer service skills that foster repeat business and positive reviews
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean workspace
- Retail sales experience to help increase revenue through product recommendations
